Colorado Clean Indoor Air Act went into effect on the 1st of July 2006, banning all enclosed workplaces statewide such as restaurants, bars and casinos.
However the act exempts places such as
- Private residences and automobiles unless used for the public transportation of children or as part of healthcare or daycare,
- Limousines under private hire,
- Hotel and motel rooms designated as smoking rooms,
