In Rajasthan, 18.9% of the population chew tobacco, while 18.8% of population smokes. More people enjoy chewing tobacco and it is clearly showing that tobacco chewing is on the rise.
Asthma and tobacco specialist Dr Virendra Singh said that chewing tobacco was more dangerous than smoking, and it increased the chances of getting cancer.
