When interviewed, Trace said he decided to switch from smoking traditional cigarettes to electronic cigarette for 2 purposes – for his own health, and for his girlfriend, the popular actress from Disney series “The Suite Life on Deck”, Brenda Song. "Electronic Cigarettes do not produce second hand smoke nor foul odors that potentially bothers and harm the people closed to him, including Song." Trace said.
His pledge was featured on the popular celebrity website HollywoodLife.com and gained well wishes all around saying "We hope the next step Trace will take is to be completely smoke free. But it's a good move for him to take the proper steps to have a healthier lifestyle. Keep it up Trace!" Trace was not the only celebrities smoking electronic cigarettes. There are other celebrities smoking E-Cig, such as Katherine Heigl and Charlie Sheen.
E-Cig spokesman said that they were glad electric cigarette had improved the lives of musician such as Trace Cyrus and thousands of other people who decided to quit smoking traditional cigarettes and choose to smoke electric cigarette. Hopefully, there will be a significant drop in death related to diseases caused by smoking.
